We will consider polygonal billiards with a non-standard reflection law such that the angle of reflection is smaller than the angle of incidence. We will present some recent results concerning the existence of hyperbolic attractors and SRB measures for such billiards. The talk is based on joint work with J. Lopes Dias, P. Duarte and J.P.
