Cauchy-Riemann (CR) theory nicely combines Complex Analysis, Partial Differential Equations, Geometric Analysis, Geometry (Algebraic and Differential) and other areas. In the talk: basic CR problems, their connections to the above mentioned areas, some approximation and extension theorems.
