A nested modular spatial epidemic model and long range percolation

In this talk I introduce an epidemic model based on a modular spatial scale-free random graph. By exploring its relation to percolation, I determine the phase diagram and show that the model interpolates between long- and short-range percolation. (This is a joint work with Alberto Gandolfi.)
