Entanglement and Quantum Phase Transitions

Quantum many body systems, especially in low dimensions, exhibit phase transitions at T=0 which are driven by changes in the parameters appearing in the Hamiltonian. The notion of entanglement may be a very useful tool to detect and classify quantum phase transitions. We will present some examples, describing both integrable and non-integrable models.
